Did You Hear That?

What does it mean to truly worship God when the music stops and we walk back into the ordinary rhythms of our lives? That is the question at the heart of this powerful message drawn from Colossians 3. Paul's words cut straight to the point: whatever we do, in word or deed, we are called to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus. That word whatever leaves no room for compartmentalization. It reaches into our marriages, our parenting, our workplaces, and our conversations with people who do not yet know Jesus. The message challenges us to stop looking across the room for the verse that applies to someone else and start asking the harder, more personal question: what is Jesus asking of me? Real surrender is not just lifting our hands during a song. It is the daily, moment-by-moment decision to let Jesus be Lord over every corner of our lives, not just the ones that feel spiritual.
