Pastor Kyle and Alyssa Gibbs believed God was calling them to establish a church firmly rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. As they sought God's direction in establishing Anchor City Church, one truth became unmistakably clear: Jesus builds His Church.
That conviction became the foundation of Anchor City Church. Rather than asking what kind of church people wanted, we began asking a better question:
What kind of church does Jesus call us to be?
Today, Anchor City Church serves Hutto, Texas, and the surrounding communities by helping people know Jesus, follow Jesus, and make Jesus known. Everything we do flows from that mission and our commitment to faithfully teaching God's Word, making disciples, and pointing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
